Why did Cotto hit Zab low on purpose?

    His knees were never shaky and holding/clinching is the smart thing to do to nullify an opponents attack,again he was never hurt in the 1st or 3rd round.

    if he wasnt.. he was on his way to being hurt in the 1st lol...

    my prediction for the fight before it happened was either a zab early ko and I knew this because of Cottos footwork.. or if not then what happened in the fight was going to happen with Cotto wearing him down. But I just didnt know Zab would be low blowed on purpose and so many times.. boy a terrible night for Zab.. but you couldnt steal his heart.. he was there till the very end.. his body let him down.. but his heart would not allow him to quit no matter what..
