i remember cotto before the fight saying that he will not understimate pac's power even though pac is the smaller guy. so he knew what was coming.. problem is he strayed away from his strategy when pac was able to lure him into brawling.

I chose "other" because I would pick "style". Then, I'd pick Pacquiao's skill and Cotto's corner on equal levels. Pacquiao seems to have the tools to always give Miguel fits, but with a better preparation (especially now that we've seen what difference proper technical guidance can make, even at this stage of his career), Cotto could have done much better, and Pacquiao's own abilities would have been neutralized to a greater extent, instead of being given a full plane on which to operate.

Pac is : faster, tougher, more talented, has an awkward style, and overall a better fighter.

Cotto wasn't weight drained and wouldn't have won regardless of what corner he had. He was the same Cotto that we'd seen before albeit a bit more patient and less aggressive. The more aggressive/ undefeated Cotto would have probably been taken out sooner when you think about it.

When you're weight drained and exhausted what do you expect?
Manny and Roach got the upper hand but not on the rematch when they demanded 147 which is 7lbs less than the title he was challenging.

    What the hell is that?
    Manny is a *****!!!

Picked Cotto's lack of punch resistance but more aptly, my choice would've been 'Pacquiao's Punch Resistance' aka 'Pac's Anti-Bully Shield'. Guys go in there thinking they can maul Manny (Hatton) or push him around (Cotto) and soon find out to their shock and detriment that their gameplan is shot to pieces.

Cotto got in some good shots (that left rip to the body followed by left uppercut which snapped Manny's head back) but didn't get the fear he expected. Instead, once he got badly wobbled in the 2nd KD, the tables were turned and he was the one doing all the running.

If he'd stuck to what he started with, the fight would've been more competitive (boring but competitive). You either beat Manny by disrupting him and making him gunshy (JMM III) or by monstering him (which so far, no one has been able to do). I expect Mayweather to have a very good chance of disrupting Manny before he gets his shots off, either that or his patented elbows - IMHO, Manny still gets a bit freaked out by being cut (Not forgetting the cheap shot alternative).

This was right before the influx of steroid allegations.

Cotto just didnt stick into his plan A. He used to box beautifully in the first and 2nd round, but got lured into brawling in the 3rd and suffered the consequence of fighting a determined brawler. He returned to box but he got counterpunched by pac's left. aaaaaannnnnd that it.

Everyone is praising PAC if he is such a monster he does not need to make everyone drain down weight to fight him, even for a rematch he wanted cotto to come in under weight what a *****

The biggest problem with many is the fact that JMM and morales was hurting pacman all the time staggering him and now he is fighting cotto who hits a couple hundred pounds harder then them both and he can't get hurt anymore that's PCP **** right there
