    I guess Margarito's a better fighter than Calzaghe now.:lol::admin

    People can be pitiful sometimes. Make some fantasy match ups and Marg wins half of them over what would be heavy, heavy favourites over him to say the least.

    Lacy takes alot of crap on this site for no reason at all. Lacy is a warrior plain in simple it is not in him to quit. He may be limited and a one trick pony but he is not a quitter. I dont think Calzaghe ruined him but that did affect his carreer negatively. Some people just cant quit and he is one them.

    You can't blame Cotto's uncle for throwing in the towel. Cotto took a knee a second time because he was so tired

    So we can't call Freitas a quitter because we aren't all pro boxers either right? Hell can't say **** about any pro-athlete unless we are also pro-athletes in that same sport? I disagree and the reason should be quite obvious. There is a difference between respectful critiquing and bashing a athlete.

    Joe actually said ''He can't punch ****''

    Lacy should have quit after 7 rounds and saved himself for another day. He could have gone back to the drawing board and come back a better fighter. Instead of being ruined.

    Cotto folded -"quit"- because of Margarito's pressure and power.

    There are some real crack heads on this site; 'Margo hits harder than Calzaghe' - What a load of ****, these Margo fans are still drunk from fight night. 'Cotto took a worse beating than Lacy did' - Unbelievable, quite outstanding really. The damage seemed more evident on Cotta coz he's hispanic and real light skinned, Jeff aint and so its harder to see tissue damage etc. **** me, some of this is so twisted, there's some real issues on this board.

    Cotto quit coz his corner flung the towel in, the man fought the wrong fight, but he fought and kept goin until it was stopped. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, he's a warrior he just picked the wrong game plan and could'nt adapt; his corner done the correct thing and in doing so prolonged his career.

    Lacy did'nt give in coz he's a tough *******, a real animal, just as Cotto is, but Jeff can take a shot, he reslly can. He's built for it and he knows it himself. And the fact that his corner was full of the worst people in the business, I mean gary shaw come on, what an arse. They were as ****ing dumb as ever and ****ed up thier man's career by not pulling him in the seventh. By which time it was clear he was being outclassed like no-one else in the last 15 years. ****in ridiculous and totally unessesary.

    I ain't no Margo fan and it's true that he hits harder. Slappy Joe lost any semblance of power years ago, you know it, I know it, everyone knows it.

    Stop playing make believe. Joe can't hit for ****.

    Why do people say Cotto quit? He got knocked down; got back up. Knocked down; back up again, then as he arose the second time ready to carry on fighting his uncle stopped it.

    Cotto didn't quit. He was beaten. There is a difference. Rahman quit against Toney.
