Another douchebag, I love that 'joe cant hit for ****' stuff. It makes so much sense, Joe has no power at all thats why everybody says that till they fight him then afterwoods, whatever they do say, none of them have ever said 'He cant hit for ****' or 'he has no power' or he's feather fisted'. Do they?

I agree he no longer sits down on many right handed shot and even less left handed one's. He cant or his hands would go etc.... But when he does hit full power, and this is very rarely, he rocks people badly. Plus he's a smw/ lhw. You people are wild.

Lacy can take a punch and his corner are very naive, thats about it.

Because Lacy is a proud man who took his licks and wanted the honour of going the distance, whereas Cotto simply showed himself up to be a 'bottle job' who quit as soon as he knew he wasn't going to win.

joe his great but he's a powderpuff puncher (currently) whereas margarito could bang.. jeff lacy endured it for 12 rounds even though joe's smoking him

that's really stupid of you sir.. i don't believe that cotto 'quit' because he lacks heart.. he was exhausted and cannot cope with margo's relentless pressure so he folded.. there's a difference between being a quitter and a spent man who chose to become wise rather than continue

Why are people even bothering to debate this? It's ****ing garbage. Insulting to a brave fighter, demeaning to boxers and boxing, and just plain wrong. Stub this thread out now like a cancerous *** it is.

Because Cotto got hammered and was actually landing yet Margo was unphased, very demoralizing. Lacy on the other hand was getting slapped and trying to land, punchers always have that hope that they can get beat up for 11 rounds but it only takes 1 punch to win the fight in the 12th.

with that reasoning, a lot of greats can be called 'bottle jobs' then.

first off i dont think cotto quit&second,as bad as the beating was that lacy took it isnt comparable to the beating cotto received in the second half of the margo fight.
