    Anybody got the deets?

One loss to Quartey really convinced him he was thru at 30?

I have always wondered the same thing. The fight with Quartey was a classic. Total back and forth war. I thought Espana was going to win. It was probably Quartey's best performance. This was all pre-internet so I had to get a lot of my results from the "Flash" newsletter back then. I believe Espana did fight (and win) one more time after Quartey. Although he was Venezuelan, he fought out of Ireland. Not always the best place to keep your career going on the international level. Just ask Mike Perez. Hopefully, he was successful in another line of work. He was a ferocious fighter.
