Why did dethroned, 17 month older, inactive, away Wlad at 41 do so much better against AJ than Fury?

I think cos age and other obstacles.
Klits already were rich and with other things to do rather than fighting.
EE fighters usually are not so selfish as ppl might think, they usually accept additional training and in rare cases have too big chip on shoulder like ppl might think.
EE boxers does have two big curses: too late turn into a pro ( this is because pro boxing history in US and UK is casual thing, in countries like Ukraine this is from 1992 th and cos they then had too much other problems. It is young stuff in these countries ).
After this: they usually does have inertia and does not retire in proper time despite they already does have enough $.
Maybe this is thing that it is hard to accept that you are going to be old for the ring. I now feel this despite I still have very good gas tank.

While Klit is considered as worse than A.J cos this fight, not likely his life quatily might had been impacted if he did not had fights vs Pulev and Fury and A.J.

I once had asked Vitaly, how went his sparring session vs guy X.Y and he just politely smiled and we had short talk about some other things. Later he just told: he is good.

Wlad was basically mind blown and short of ideas against Fury.... he couldn't out jab him combined with Fury completely taking his right hand away

 

Fury was much better than Joshua and.......................stylistically a far more difficult opponent. Both of the first two answers are accurate.

I would never bet the house on anything even if i was 100% sure because realistically anything can happen.
