Why did DLH never rematch Trinidad?

same could be said about mayweather, i wouldn't have watched his fights if it weren't for oponents such as gatti, judah and de la hoya.

I can't understand what makes people think Floyd should be slugging it out with people 17 to 25 pounds above his natural fighting weight. PLUS all the sluggers/brawlers fight that way because they don't have the boxing skill set he has. I mean who with a ****ing brain thinks Mayorga would've kept eating those hooks from Trinidad if he had 1 ounce of actual BOXING skill?

I'll tell you what interested me about him. I like his style of fighting. He looks like he is in control and he looks as if he is dictating the fight at all times. He has a good jab, and a great right cross....which has really developed throughout his career. I also love watching guys who can put together fast and powerful combos. Do alot of his combos miss? Yeah, but it is still impressive that he gets them off and keeps his opponents on the defensive. If you throw a 5 punch combo and only land 1....you still landed 1, and for that period also prohibited your opponent from throwing, so it is beneficial. Oh and I also love when he finishes a combo with that left uppercut.....that NEVER lands! :rofl :rofl :rofl

Oh, and he is a tuff son of a *****, and always comes right back after being hit. Cross-dressing or not, that guy can straight up fight and even you have to admit that.

I'm not singling you out. There are a lot of people on this board that will tell you he ran from Judah though which is bull****. If he were still fighting at 140 and below then he would throw more combos and take more risks like he did against Corley. Its all about being smart and not taking more punishment than you have to.
