The fight did decent Ppv numbers and there was enough demand for a rematch.

He wanted to prove he could beat him easy.. Like he did on the second one. First fight deserved the rematch.. Lot of deman for it. In the eyes of many Maidana almost beat him..

Wasn't pleased with his performance and Maidana earned it.

I thought the first fight could have been called a draw, the second and third time I watched it. That's why.

I don't know. Maybe because The Magic Man Paulie Malignaggi wasn't available.

Same as with Castillo. Because he knew he lost and could do better.

Not so with Oscar. Even though Oscar was way past his best. No money could get Floyd to get in the ring Oscar again. Floyd decided to retire until the rematch clause lapsed. Plus Floyd had already decided to commit himself to a serious 2-year out of the ring roiding program. So he had that going on as well.

I can assure you he won't be giving Sugar Mac a rematch, not now, not ever. He'll never manage to pluck up the courage to avenge that epic event loss. He doesn't crave that graft at all.

Imagine what a 0-1 Sugar Mac will do to him with all that invaluable experience under his belt if a 0-0-0 one was able to school his ass for 4 rounds and come within a whisker of KO-ing him in round 9 with that GGG-esque Macklin rib breaker.
