I would say Floyd is more of a money man than a boxing fan.

Floyd wanted to fight Khan, but there was a 'backlash' by the reaction of the fans over there. Sound familiar?

Floyd is another one who has been forced to fight an opponent he doesn't want to :deal

The annoying thing about all this? its going to be another easy night for floyd and another easy paycheck.

At least Khan would of given him problems for a few rounds and make him look his age.

Maidana, a true warrior, but thats it. He will be lucky to win a single round.

    its a farce.

The bottom line is he looks at the risk/reward ratio. Maidana is the least risk and alsmost the same reward and bear in mind he wont give maidana no where near the same cut as khan would have got

And? You could vote vote for either guy than as much as you wanted. I'm not sure why people are campaigning for Khan. His stock is pretty low right now. He's right back in the hunt though if he can get a good win or two.

The other sites are all american sites. Most of khans fans arent hardocre boxing fans they dont go on espn or what ever the other polls were and theyre in the UK. Why didnt Maidana win the twitter poll?? Maidana tweeted it to his fans too right?

So basically, all the other polls are meaningless? Only the twitter polls matters. Ok. Listen, Khan can be in line for a shot at Mayweather again if he gets a good win or two. If that does happen, I'm pretty sure next to no one will campaigning for him to get the fight. When it looked like he was going to get it this time, there was tremendous fan and media backlash.

In his 3 defeats 1 against Garcia those combinations where winning every second of every round untill he got caught.

    Pederson was a robbery

and Prescott well didnt last long did it.

Khan does not lose many rounds because he is quicker to the punch than 99% of fighters including Floyd.

I am not saying Khan deserved the fight but at least it would have been a fight Maidana is not going to get within a foot of Floyd all night another 12 round snooze fest on the way.

I agree with you that he should have had a few better wins but your failing to see the bigger picture. Mayweather has only a few fights left and now anohter one of the is meaningless and will end the same if not worse than the last 2. Dont you ever want to see mayweather tested. Its too easy for him.

Because Khan getting his twitter followers to hit his name repeatedly doesn't mean it would be the more popular fight.

Tested? Against Khan. A man who is 2-2 in his last 4 fights. The best fighter out of those 4 matches, Garcia, completely walked through his ass. And now he is suppose to be a true test to THE top fighter in the sport? Stop lying to yourself.

Floyd was expecting a landslide win for Maidana. He put the poll up after getting worried khan might embarrass him. It kinda backfired so he just went for Maidana anyway

Who cares. Mayweather chose the most deserving fight. Khan is a joke atm getting knocked down and seriously hurt by boxers coming up from lower weights. He needs to get some solid wins under his belt to be considered a viable oponent. Maidana just beat a beltholder at 147, who was being groomed as the next p4p ppv star in devastating fashion.
