Why did Floyd leave 135 AS SOON as Morales came to 130?

    :good

There are a lot of salty people on here who will continue to try and downplay Mayweather, despite most of their arguments being disproven time and time again, especially in regards to who he did and did not fight. He'll be looked at as being on a higher level than his peers down the road. These haters simply can't accept that the history books will look far more favorably on him than they would like and their meaningless opinions will fade in to the black hole that is the internet. Some of these fools will be 60 yr old still saying words like fl0mo talking about "he lost to Castillo!" and no one will care.

    :hi:

If he didn't fight Corrales as an example (and utterly DESTROY him) and fought somebody else people would be saying 'why come he ducked Corrales who was the monster at that weight at the time'.

Also Godlovkin, he might well have done one on Floyd in sparring, let's suggest he beat the **** out of him, one spar... Khan held his own against Pacquiao in sparring, Eubank Jr held his own against Froch in sparring, what does it mean?

Great career? Based on what, just being 48-0? Sure. But who the heck has he beaten?
If he had these names on his resume, (prime Mosley, Tsyu, freitas Williams, Pac) then we could say that. But being that he only has prime Corrales and castillo, doesn't even come close to cutting it.

Not sure, but most likely it had nothing to do with Morales moving to 130.

The same Morales that got schooled by Zahir Raheem at 135? Did you not think of that before you wrote this thread?

Zahir beat a faded Morales at 135, then Morales came back down to 130 and lost to Pacquiao. 122-126 Morales was the one that whipped 130 Mayweather, PRIME El Terrible. Zahir would of gotten trampled by a prime Morales, Barrera, Marquez, or Pacquiao. He got squashed by Funeka ffs.

How was he faded when he just beat Manny the fight before? And maybe you shoukd think about what you just wrote. I don't recall prime Barrera looking all that hot against Ivan Robinson whose style was similar to Raheem. In fact the only guy you mentioned I would favor over Raheem at 135 is Marquez. I'd take Raheem any day over prime MAB, Morales, and the one handed Pac of that era!

Laughable. He moved up so that Raheem could take out the trash.

The first fight with Pac was epic. The other two were hogwash because Morales was absolutely drained in both of them and it showed.
