Cuz Maidana or someone on his team was caught trying to cheat. Yeah I know the commission approved some other gloves. Commission can't even do their jobs monitoring Margarito and Maidana, what credibility do they really have? Just think Margarito would still be fighting with concrete if it was just the commission approving gloves. Cheaters have no rights, NONE! If Maidana didn't try to cheat there would have been no problems. Floyd has never declined any gloves before fighting many opponents with punchers gloves.

Approved by the commission. Spoken like a true *******. The commission is good enough. They didn't catch Margarito cheating. They didn't catch Maidana trying to cheat.

Is it coincidence Maidana initially picked some unpadded gloves? Too coincidental for me. He knew which ones to pick.

 

It was approved so using a pair that was approved is not cheating. It's different when someone slipped an illegal object on the wrap.

Some gloves are more padded than others. Punchers like Maidana and Pac would prefer them while Mayweather who has brittle hands and who relies on points to win would prefer more padded "pillows" . Both types of gloves are allowed unless it was stated in your fight contract that you wear only a certain brand or type just like what Morales did a couple of times against Pac and Maidana.

 

just because someone slipped something into a wrap doesnt mean the commission is competent or did their job.....they are supposed to inspect that and watch them being wrapped.....how is it another trainer can spot it yet they cant?

its not different than them approving a pair of gloves that shouldnt be approved....its an oversight and just because they are approved doesnt make it right or them fair

shane mosley didnt fail an NSAC **** test in 2003....but later admitted to using EPO at the time.....does that make things fair just because the NSAC didnt sniff it out?....good lord...the lack of logic or reasoning by some of you is so blatant and sad

 

These gloves are used in fights. Are you saying that because Mayweather doesn't want Maidana to wear his puncher's gloves, they need to ban all horse hair gloves as well?

Certain types of gloves has less padding and it's called puncher's gloves. Maybe you're new to boxing?

This is ******ed reasoning. Call him for rabbit punching but not for picking a gloves that is perfectly legal.
