Because Haney was ranked most accurately by most people before the overated Kam fights, and that was towards the bottom of the list of the top 4 fighters at 135. Regardless if he has the guts to give a rematch, things are not going to get easier for him, and if he thinks people don't fear his power now, wait until 140lbs and up. I've also seen rocks lying around outside with more likability & personality than him.
Because even that version of Loma is the far superior fighter with a far superior skill set Size matters and the size difference was ridiculous and that's the only reason the fight was competitive How do you think a fight between a Haney who only weighed a couple of divisions more than Loma goes and not four? Or what about only one division less? A same size Loma? A 1, 2, 3 or 4 division heavier? Yeah, Haney gets knocked out by them all and early by a bigger or much bigger Loma As said, the natural size difference between them is ridiculous This content is protected
Anybody would struggle with Lomas style, he's a lefty with great speed and angles, with a very high Ring IQ as well. He'd be competitive against the greatest fighters in or around his divisions. Loma is a great fighter.
The only reason this was competitive was because of Haney’s size. A Loma closer to Haney’s size would beat the hell out of him. Imagine if it was a Loma 2-3 weight classes heavier fighting Haney …
Do ya’ll live in like some weird alternate reality or something???? Lol Mr Nostrils was NOT better. He got out boxed but gifted a win. LOMA was better. “B.. Bu he know what I’m Tryna do daddy!!”
Why did he struggle against a guy who up until a year or two ago was considered the P4P Number 1 fighter in the sport? Yeah....its a mystery.
He doesn't have power, so Loma could do all his matrix **** without consequence. Size difference didn't mean as much when Haney couldn't buzz him. Teofimo could hurt Loma when he tried to move in on him.
People are still talking about this fight? History will remember that it was a razor close fight between two elites. No need for people to get in their feelings about it.
Haney is 24 years old, fighting against 35 Lomachenko who is an all-time great amateur, trained by an all-time great trainer. Obviously they are not playing the same game as far as experience and skill goes. It's simply not feasible for him at that point. His attributes in this fight were always age and size.
Haney in the twelfth He knows everything I'm doing That right there tells you all you need to know On what haney really thinks of that result He lost that fight
