Someone explain to me why someone would leave a division where all the top fighters are mixing it up? Is it something to do with making weight?

I don’t believe no one wanted to fight him, he should dropped that WBO belt and fought guys to get himself ranked for the WBC belt. He’s highly rated by boxing heads and I admit he has skills for sure but he hasn’t taken out anyone like Rungvisai, Gonzalez or Estrada has in the past year.

Let me know if I’m missing something?

He's 5'5" in a division where everyone else is 5'3"-5'4". Everyone knew he was going to bantam someday. Anyway, Inoue is a thick dude for his size too like his brother who is two inches shorter but fights at bantam. He might have stayed if Gonzalez had remained undefeated to set up a superfight, but then Rungvisai knocked Gonzalez out and put the kabosh on that plan.

So why not go after a unification with Rungvisai in that case?

I hear that he simply finds the weight increasingly difficult to make, which is a shame as there are so many great fights to be made at Superfly.

    Rungvisai - 31 years old
    Estrada - 27 years old
    Gonzalez - 30 years old
    Cuadras - 29 years old

The Superflies became prominent when they were fully grown. Inoue is 24 and a growing boy. Tete and Nery are no joke. They have a greater chance of sparking Inoue out clean than the current superflies.

I hate this jumping up in weight without facing the dangermen of a division, It’s a waste of time. It’s a current trend in boxing the biggest culprits these past couple years have been Loma, Mikey Garcia and Gonzalez. It’s pointless, moving up in weight was usually for guys who ruled a division.

People wanted to see Hagler go up to fight Spinks, Holyfield went up to HW after conquering CW, Bob foster went up to fight Ali and the top HWs, Trinidad to fight B-hop etc.

Gonzalez beat everyone relevant on the way up: Yaegashi, Estrada, Viloria, Sosa, then he started cleaning out superfly with Cuadras and Rungvisai. As for Lomachenko, I guess he could have fought Santa Cruz or Frampton, but the way that they ducked Rigondeaux they wouldn't want any piece of Lomachenko. As it is, there's no one for him to fight at super featherweight and he should move up to fight Garcia and Linares at lightweight. When it comes to Mikey Garcia, his whole career has been a mess. Taking two and a half years off was the worst thing he could have done. He should have fought all kinds of people: basically everyone Terence Crawford fought plus Crawford himself.

Gonzalez made a huge mistake moving up in weight. Too much pressure for a fighter to move up all the time.................too many make that mistake............

It wasn’t a mistake he can’t make 112 anymore, he was killing himself to make 115.

Gonzalez took on better names than Inoue and at least established his name in two of the division. Inoue just hasn’t fought anyone of note this past couple of years and guys like Kono ain’t gonna cut it for me.

Loma has Berchelt and down at 126 I think he could of got a Valdez on his resume. Now he is probably gunna go up to fight Beltran who I don’t rate, if he wins a belt at 135 and doesn’t fight Linares, Mikey or Easter I’m done with this guy it will be clear to me he only fights people who are at a disadvantage. Look at his last couple of opponents beside Sosa, everyone else has either been small or coming off a long lay off.

Mikey is just a business man, he literally will fight the highest bidder and whilst he is taking on names the only fight I’m interested with him is Linares or Loma and Loma’s is the best one.
