Why did it take so long for Floyd to become a ppv star?

    Thanks, I wasn't sure.

Anyway, Floyd has done an amazing job promoting himself and staying relevant, nobody can dispute that.

It's hard to become a PPV attraction and even harder to maintain it.

what some have to realise is floyd was craving stardom, that's what he wanted, and he was even having sissy fits when he couldn't sell. the gatti fight set it off, and then after that he promoted himself very well. he was getting on tv alot more at every oppurtunity, even during build up for fights he was getting involved in something such as dancing, wrestling, whatever, floyd was on tv, he was even on business channels apparantly. when you're on tv so much chatting ****, it's hard to ignore that person, and in the end, dancing fans knew he was, wrestling fans knew who he was because he was putting himself out there for people to know who he was. floyd went above trying to attract boxing fans to him, he went out of his way to get known, and that's something shane didn't do.

what im saying is there's nobody in boxing right now so he gets all the attention and the press.. he couldnt compete when DLH and tito were in their prime but now there's nobody else worthy for sportscenter to tal about so he gets all the coverage..

He's boring when it comes to the ring fight, but he seems exciting comes promotional events-talking a lot of SHEIT!
