Why did Jame Toney Vs Eubank/Benn not happen?

    I answered the questions about Toney travelling.

    I answered the question about how Littles was clearly better than Galvano.

    As for Eubank vs Benn being lauded as a big fight, it's merely proof of how devoid the division was of big-name fighters at the time. For the biggest fighters it was just a pit-stop to LHW. And yet Tiozzo and Cordoba were still nearly on par with Benn in terms of ability (not achievements)

    That's Benn, not Eubank. They were better than Eubank.

    So traveling thousands of miles doesn't count as traveling as long as you are in the same country?:huh

    I fly from the west coast to east coast regularly, and it sure as hell feels like traveling. Not everywhere in the USA feels like my home either.

    Too many Toney nutsuckers,remember the Dave Tiberi fight,(admittedly this was at middleweight,but so what?)where for some inexplicable reason Toney got the decision.Tiberi even hurt him and too charge over long spells of the fight.Toney look limp and drained and white Tiberi was just an average puncher.:yep

    Eubank n benn didnt want the fight because they were a level below toney. simple as that.

    Eubank has given various reasons for why that fight did not happen. In his autobiography he says that Toney was never his mandatory so he didn't have to face him
