Why did James Toney wear the Jewish star on his trunks?

    In many MW and SMW fights of Toney he had the Star of David on his trunks. Was it an old school tribute or something? Like a Max Baer thing? or what?

    I think it was because he had a Jewish manager.

    I've wondered that as well. Bennie Briscoe did the same thing, although I think he said he just did it because he thought it looked cool.
