Yes we know this, we also know that Vitali was preparing for Boswell either way Vitali got his mandated match and lost no need for a rematch Lewis has every right to retire he has beaten all fighters of his Era and of this era. Lewis was set to retire after Tyson he had his eyes on retirement what people fail to realize is that Vitali Turned Pro in 1996, Lewis was heading for his 2nd world heavyweight title back then. in other words the man is old, it was time for him to retire, he beat Vitali and Klitschko fans need to find a way to deal with it all this Lewis ducked a rematch **** is ****ing old
Lewis was old, and did what he had to do. Made some cash and obviously wasn't that mad keen on fighting when he fought vitali. So what?
LL was going to rematch Vitali, what a lot of people dont know is Vks mum phoned Lennox and said she didnt want to lose her elder son. So LL took pity and decided to retire
Yup. He was the champ. Doesn't need to rematch anyone ESPECIALLY someone whose ass Lewis already beat
LL is clearly more comfortable fighting his battles via social media. In ten years VK will be holding polotical office and trying to improve his people's quality of life, while LL will be talking **** via the latest social media sites, trying to repair/spin doctor a decision he made 19 years ago that still haunts him.
Because win or lose he was done with training and boxing as a whole. Klit was just the proof in the pudding! Lennox had never been that outta shape for any bout in his career. Ever!
Because he knew we would all get a great laugh at how butthurt the more idiotic Vitali fans would be all these years later. Lennox Lewis-He cares about the fans.
He refused the rematch because he would have lost and he got dominated by Vitali. Took a while to accurately respond, but that's typical ESB. ******ed and delusional, believing that winning 2 rounds against Vitali = a true win.
Just like believing three OK rounds constitutes domination.:rofl You couldn't burn these necks with a blowtorch!
Vitali won 4 rounds and staggered and almost knocked Lewis down 2x. Three OK rounds, what a delusion.
cause he felt it was time to hang them up, he was too old and not competing at the level he was used to. he was being honest with himself, and it was maybe a hard choice to make. to be honest not many can retire at the right time, but i think lennox did.
He promised a rematch and bitched out on it because in the cold light of day he knew he'd lose. He wasn't going to stop the guy on a cut again anyway.
