And if you weren't such a waterhead you would realize that fighters look better against lesser opponents. Vitali made Lewis look worse than Tyson did... anyone with half a brain knows simple things like this. I know a lot of boxing fans are half ******ed, but this **** is just silly. Danny Williams looked a lot better vs Tyson too.:rofl Jackass.

Pretty much after he beat tyson that was the icing on the cake. He already beat holyfield-tua and many other up and comer so he decided to leave. The only fight i wish happen was the riddick bowe fight.

He retired because he didnt have anything else to prove...He was at the tale end of his career and I dont blame him for retiring...Its funny listening to people saw he went into retirement to duck Vitali!:rofl

He wasn't gassed after 2 rounds due to lack of conditioning.... he got his ASS KICKED IN ROUND 2. There is a difference. Of course he looked like **** after that round, Vitali just handed him the worst beating in any round of his entire career. When you get your ass handed to you, and get seriously hurt and wobbled as Lewis was in Round 2... it tends to take a lot out of you. You guys honestly live in an alternate reality.

Lewis beat him fair and square. If VK didn't run around crying like an idiot and trying to gee up the crowd afterwards this wouldn't even be a discussion.

His face was cut to shreds and although Lewis might have been a couple of rounds behind, lets remember, it was only half way through the fight. It wouldn't take much to even out a two point lead.

Especially when you consider that Lennox was looking the stronger towards the end.

Can you please explain to me how the hell he got a gift decision when he was literally ripping Vitali's face into shreds??? :-(

Lewis landed a pefect placed shot on Vitali's face to open up that cut...You need to blame Vitali for not properly moving out of the way of that punch that caused that nasty cut...Lewis did what he had to do and that was target that eye...I take it you didnt notice Lewis coming on strong around the time of the stoppage!

Lewis did not want to risk again. He had enough in six rounds. He got lucky with that cut and he knew it.

Instead of going back n forth with what you or i think was going on in the fight, heres a question...Do YOU think Vitali deserved the rematch???

It's really that simple and everyone knows it. :yep

They try to preach this bull**** about Lewis knowing that he couldn't get up for fights anymore... Lewis knowing that his body was finished... Lewis having enough money and not needing to fight anymore.... Yet, they leave out the fact that Lewis sat on his title for 8 months after he fought Vitali, avoided the rematch... tried to secure fights against RJJ and Mike Tyson, and only decided to retire once the WBC ordered him to either enter into negotiations with Vitali or be stripped of his only remaining Title. He retired directly after that. Funny how they make all of those excuses for a man who was trying to sue Mike Tyson back into the ring at the time. :patsch:lol:
