yes, and i think it came down to poor strategy, and i think he fought Froch's fight

a rematch could provide something different though i think most feel Froch wins again and probably by stoppage

I think it's because Froch was motivated. I mean, he said if he lost, he'd retire.

Bute in the best shape of his life and perfect condition would've still lose that fight mainly because of two things:

Froch had entered that ring with a due or dies mindset.
Bute had no idea what to expect from Froch in terms of intensity and aggression.

Even thou Bute didn't underestimated Froch he never expected the level he fought for last few years and the lvl that Froch was going to bring into the ring were so far apart, so he didn't prepared for such a thing.
Even if Bute would've slept well and rest the night before the fight instead of killing himself to make weight he still wasn't ready for what Froch brought to the table and probably was about to lose a UD.

I'm not gonna vote on that poll because it's sarcastic, cynical and disrespectful. By the way you made that poll looks like you're not really interested in finding out our opinion but troll and spread your own hate around here.

[x] His opponent wasn't one of the carefully selected bums he got used to beating.

Well my personal opinion is because he was getting punched
alot. In a boxing match, if you get hit too many times you lose. :deal

I still don't understand what I saw that night. Lucian simply frozed and I don't know why. Bute is far better than what we saw against Froch.

I think it was a mix of things , like: weight draining , foreign place , hostile crowd, a bad game plan and underestimation of the opponent ! Also Froch was very motivated to win that fight in his hometown !

Anyway the rematch will give us the real answer !
