Why did Lucian Bute lose to Carl Froch?

    If you had two functioning brain cells, you'd know that boxing does not work like that.

    He lost because he kept getting fed stiffs for too long !

    It is possible that he would have perfomed better if:

    1: he wasnt dehydrated.

    Bute comes into the ring as a cruiserweight. If that excuse is valid, his management should be fired for going ahead with the rematch at 168.

    2: he didnt have a gimpy leg.

    No doubt about the leg infection cost him some valuable training.

    3: he had fought at home.

    This was the first time in a hostile territory. It surely meant something. Only the fewest of the few perform up to par against an elite fighter when fighting abroad for the first time.

    4: if he didnt have a glass jaw.

    But he does and no alternate preparation can change that fact.



    That some Bute-stans in earnest thinks he was jetlagged still gives me a good bellylaugh. :lol:

    That makes no sense. Ward beat Froch easily right before Bute fought Froch. What happened, did Bute forget to call Ward for the blueprint on Froch?

    dude , its about the manner how Bute lost to Froch , that bad manner ! I'm agree that triangle theory doesn't work always in boxing but that beating that Bute took it was too brutal for a guy that beat convincingly top 10 smw guys ( Andrade , Bika and Johnson ) !

    Froch fought like he had a demon between the eys and crowned Bute's head with with pounding clumps. No body attack, all up top to the head.

    How Ironic.. I dont even remember did Bute ever survived that far? he was getting drummed like some jungle rums there.:mad:
