Speaking of Margarito prepare to HATE hater's, But he has been cleared to get back in the ring.

    (Possible as early as December)

Not sure if this has been reported yet, But it was posted on his facebook.
    (it's in spanish)

"Luego de varios reportes que informaban que Antonio Margarito no podría volver a pelear tras las lesiones recibidas el pasado mes de noviembre a manos de Manny Pacquiao, Margarito fue operado la semana pasada de cataratas y podría regresar al cuadrilátero para el mes de diciembre. Se informa que le estarían dando de alta en 2 semanas y ya podría comenzar a entrenar"

BTW, Just asking this question & knowing Panama is STILL banned from the sport answers the question towards the seriousness of the so-called "Loaded" wrap's Tony was accused of.

IF Margarito had bricks in his gloves he would be banned 100%.
(No suspension, No chance to ever fight again, Instead we have gauze as hard as a slug's ****)

He only got a license in Texas as far as I know Calfironia hasnt given him a liscense to box, but there is a big difference between Panama and Antonio, Anotonio was caught attempting, Lewis out right loaded gloves and removed padding.... Huge difference here cus Lewis did this and the fight continued.

Margarito was caught and had to re wrap with clean wraps and the fight went on and so did his ass getting beat the **** down, Now as far as the evidence goes well lets just keep in mind that the DA has since decided not to file charges after learning about the lab results.

Margarito should have never had his licensed suspended to begin with, cause he did nothing illegal, because Mosley used steroids to fight Margo.

Margarito got his license back, because he was BRIBED by DelaHoya to "throw" the fight with Pac, to let Pac get a FIXED "win" when he fought him.
That's why Margarito hardly threw anything to Pac, and let Pac win on purpose, so that Margarito would get re-licensed, as part of DelaHoya and Arum's BRIBE deal.

Margarito had previoslyu agreed, as part of Delahoya's and Arum's BRIBE deal, to just stand in there and let Pac land punches. BUt a couple hours before the fight, Robert Garcia caught Team Pac placing illegal plaster inserts in Pac's wraps and wanted them re-wrapped, but the Texas commision said "NO"!!, the fight will go on without Pac having to re-wrapped.

Since the Cali commiission had first allowed Margo to try to use plaster inserts before Margo fought the steroid-cheating Mosley, DelaHoya instrucrted the Texas commission to allow Pac to use plaster inserts, as a means for DelaHoya to get back at Margarito for trying to use Plaster inserts against DelaHoya's friend and business partner, the steroid cheating-Mosley.

This is why Margo drank that powdered liquid, cause he was trying to get the fight called off, cause he knew his health was at risk, knowing that he had 3 BIG ISSUES to deal with:patsch, cause Margo was about to fight a:

1.) EPO Steroid/PED Juiced up Pacman,
2.) Pac had illegal plaster inserts/loaded gloves,
3.) in a FIXED FIGHT, that Margo had agreed to "throw" as a means to get his license back.

and now that Margo had eye problems, DelaHoya is fearfull that Margo might "break his silence" and come forward with all od DelaHoya's extortions, fight fixes, EPO steroid uses that Mosley and Pac did, and so many other things, so now DelaHoya is "playing the part" that he's depressed and is hooked on cocaine, and went to rehab, cause DelaHoya doesnt want Margo to think that DelaHoya is enjoying life and laughing that Margo has serios health issues, so DelaHoyas is pretending that he's "suffering" too.

Because attempting to cheat and actually had cheated are covered entirely by different laws.

It is like possession of firearms and actually using the firearms to commit robbery is treated differently.

this is actually very easy to answer:

Margarito was a victim of something his TRAINER tried to do, and Panama Lewis was the one who actually a) dipped resto's hands in legitimate plaster, and b) took off padding from resto's gloves, while c) giving his fighters suped up drinks.

Margarito has never used illegal wraps in the ring. but the wraps that capetillo put on him supposedly had traces of substances which can be found in plaster of paris....

Margarito takes OFF his gloves after fights....while resto knew veeeeeery well what was going on and he didn't want to take off his gloves at all...

basically.....aaany trainer in the world can **** up a fighter's career simply by randomly causing a scandal (intentional or not) in the locker rooms before fight time....

is it always the fighter's fault for that? no. it wasn't margarito's fault....but yes, resto knew very well what he was doing.

Exactly. I think if they really found hard evidence they would have punished harder than a suspension. I even think there's not much benefit from what Capetillo is trying to put into the wraps, the technique is flawed.

Not saying Margarito isn't guilty, just that there's not enough evidence to say he clearly is. That is why the commission can only give him a suspension.

Yep, there was no hard evidence. In a court of law, Margarito would have been cleared.......................

Margarito is a cash cow for Arum, so it was worth greasing some monkeys, and fighting for his license back. As long as their are a bunch of dumb ass Mexican fans that follow this disgrace he will have Papa Arum's blessing and backing.

Given all the facts, I think it was the wrong thing to suspend him. Nobody ever blames Aaron Pryor for the blatant use of anti-histamines against Arguello and rightly so, because it's likely he didn't know anything about it. There's no way to prove that Margarito knew about it. Capetillo has said it was a mistake and said it was him who made the mistake. Both he and Margarito agree on the opinion that Margarito knew nothing about it.

In cases as big as this, heads have to roll. It's not enough to suspend a pretty unknown trainer. Given the facts, it's very harsh to punish Margarito because you can't prove him guilty of anything.

The fact is, it's possible that Margarito really didn't know. There's a good chance he was getting his hands wraps and didn't see what was being put in them and also that he hadn't used them before. You simply can't prove that he knew they were being put there and you can't prove he had used them against Cotto or anyone else.

You can't prove he knew about it but, like I said, heads always have to roll. Margarito took his punishment and should be allowed to move on. I do think, given he facts, it was very harsh to suspend him.
