Why did Mayweather choose Marquez and not Mosley or Cotto?

JMM was the easiest choice for Him because of size. Simple as that

There have been numerous reasons as to why Floyd and Shane have never gotten around to a fight. One of which is Shane stepping aside to let Oscar fight Floyd. Another is Floyd getting caught up in Ricky Hatton smack talk and running to fight him at 147.

Basically I've given up all hope of these two fighting.

That was exactly what I posted in another thread here . . . yesterday. :D

    PBF is a cherry picker!

He was suppose to be the #1 P4P fighter and the top 147 fighter and yet he decided to run into retirement . . . instead of fighting 147 contenders.

. . . . and now . . . coming back to fight the #2 P4P fighter who is coming up in weight from the lower weigh class?

Only PBF nuthuggers would not see and realize this fact. :deal

Well- asking Marquez to go up 2 weight classes to fight at 147 wouldn't be fair neither! PBF should pick on somebody his own size.

    This is easy.

Pacquiao's last two opponents were Mayweather's and he got the job done against them FAR better than Mayweather.

Mosley, despite his Margarito victory has a loss against Cotto.

Cotto, despite his victory has a loss against Margarito.

Picking Marquez is pretty similar to Pac picking Hatton or DLH, a decent fight after two years off and against someone Pacquiao struggled with. More like a punch back at Pacquiao to help build up their future fight even more than it already is.

because both have a serious chance at beating him, and both are bigger men....especially Mosley

What the Mayweathers don't realise, is that JMM is the tougher guy. PBf matches up against Mosely the best, then Cotto. Jmm will be the toughest fight of Pbf's career, and Pbf and his fans have no idea what kind of fight they are getting into.
