Why did Mayweather choose Marquez and not Mosley or Cotto?

thats what i wrote in my thread! PBF is a protected fighter. im not saying that JMM is least fighter compared to cotto mosley and other fighters in their divisions but why the hell did he retired when there are plenty of fighter that can be matched! i think hes just afraid

But the real issue is...

Why is it OK for little Cotto to fight Jennings after getting KOed, but Floyd has to take **** for fighting a true warrior after a ****ing two year layoff????

 

its a tune up fight, cotto as fight coming up, shane is a high risk high reward, jmm is a lower risk higher reward ( he is p4p number 2 and at the top of his game).

not even floyd would take over a yr off and fight mosley or a cotto.superman is not real

 

Because Marquez is small, Void took the easiest way out.

 

So to demand a high payday for a big fight. Well under what he made for DLH.. to come straight of retirement is bad?

What about when Shane took a year off after the Vargas fight for his toothache?

I think you missed the point here BigReg..I for one wouldnt feel right and think that will be unfair. But truth is Mosley or Cotto after a long layoff will not pick on JMM and fight Floyd

And the size difference between Floyd-Mosley/Cotto is greater than Floyd-Marquez

Do you remember how much **** DLH got for his fight w/ Forbes? That is what this is like.

I won't deny JMM is a warrior....but fight a guy in your division, or at the MOST one lower for ****'s sake... :-(

As much as I hate to say it, I agree 100% with you on this. However, IF Mayweather defeats Marquez but does not fight again a legitimate WW afterwards, I will be very very very pissed

Also, I don't want to see Floyd lose but imagine what all the haters on here who are giving Floyd hell by calling him a cherrypicker and a ***** for fighting smaller guys are going to say :rofl...if Floyd loses to JMM of course
