Why did Pac fight DLH @ 147, Cotto @ 145 & now Clotty @ 147. He's picking & choosing

what weight he wants to fight at. Does anyone else not find this odd that he made an already drained Cotto drop down to 145 yet he had no problem moving to 147 to fight an old washed up Oscar? :huh I'll give it to him that he finally found his balls and is fighting Clotty at 147. Even though we all know that Clotty has had a hard time making 147 for a long time now. In summray, he needs to decide on a weight division and stick to it.

when Pac fought Oscar @147, he was moving up from 135, Oscar was moving down from 150.

when Pac fought Cotto @ 145, he was moving up from 140, Cotto was moving down from 147.

now Pac is fighting Clottey @ 147, he is moving up from 145, Clottey is allowed to stay at 147 cause between 145 and 147 is just a small difference and Pac is started to get acclimated to the weight.

Easy. Roach likes to match Pac with fighters who are weak, or weakest in the division. And if they pose a threat, Roach likes those fighters to be a disadvantages such as weight etc...

Oscar challenged PACQUAIO who was 135 at the time to a catch weight fight of 147

Cotto weighed in 146 against clottey, he was not weight drained at all. he lot 1 pound to make the fight with a 12 week camp, pacquiao had to gain 5 from 140

what is wrong with Clottey? he wants to fight at 147, nobody else for pac to fight

Pac is a welterweight for legit as roach said, he wont fight at 140 again, possibly 145 if he is fighting someone like bradley but 147 for a legit ww

i agree that the thread is ******ed but you are also wrong when he fought cotton he was not moving up from 140 in fact he was moving down from 147

odlh , hatton at 147 then cotto at 145 , then back to 147

You're wrong, Hatton was at 140, and Pac weighed-in at 138lbs, then fought Cotto at 145.

Great rebuttal. You can't even counter my argument with anything of substance.

You know I'm right when I point out that Pac and his team are picking and choosing the right scenario to give him the edge in winning. The one time he fought someone in their prime (Morales I) he got his ass handed to him. But of course he wasn't wearing his lucky socks that night.
