Ok so in this case the two fighters are both FAR above the rest of the heap, #1 and #2 is very debatable. So we go back to drawing power. Why is it ok for Oscar to get the bigger share 3 times when he fights the P4P #1 based on his past fights and his drawing power, but in this "special" case it's not ok for Floyd to get the bigger share, when the statistics (just like with Hoya) all are in favor of Floyd???

    Hint.

    It's because he's a Pac fan.

    That's why it's not okay.

Everyone dogs Floyd, but when he was P4P #1 and they were negotiating the "Biggest Fight in Boxing History" between him and Oscar, he conceded to ALL of oscars demands and had no issue giving him the bigger purse.

Dawg, its clearly a double standard when it comes to Floyd...Everybody else has done but when Floyd wants to do it (just repeating history with purse split of being the bigger draw) Everybody wants to holla
    -He's ducking
    -Floyd's creating new rules
    -Floyd think he's above everybody!:patsch
Its quite sad that Floyd gets all of this flack when other fighters have done the exact samething Floyd is doing now...I dont agree with everything Floyd has ever done, hell I dont think anybody has but its quite sad listening to these clowns make up bull**** just to **** on Mayweather.

    Pathetic!:verysad

So what kind of facts do you bring to the table to disprove pacs motives and intentions mr. smart man?

Because at least i can say that his contributions to his community are very well documented.

You say he fights only for money.

Well, its not ONLY for money if you are giving that money back to an entire nation of needy children and people.

When is that last time you have seen Mayweather build schools, hospitals, homes, etc. . . :patsch

    And im the ignorant one?

**** Floyd and Pac, its not about being a fan of anyone. . . its about looking at a mans actions outside the ring and being able to realize he LITERALLY fights for his people you jackass.

PAC-Hatton ended years ago, do we have to discuss thoroughly again that fight and sadly on the subject of purse sharing?

We just be thankful that Hatton came out alive from that fight after receiving such lethal punch.

You've got your answer, the logical one.

. . . it was a 50/50 split, and Arum gave Pacquiao an additional 2% from his own cut.

The point of the thread is this:

Pac almost let the fight fall apart because he wanted the bigger share, he thought he deserved it. Yet now, Mayweather has actual basis to claim the bigger share, yet Pac wont give it to him.

But because it was "years" ago, Fytelod won't talk about it.

I understood your point Dawg. This is not to defend PAC's actions but IMO he deserved to get the lion's share in that fight. He felt he's the bigger star (being P4P#1) and also he believed he's the slightly bigger draw (PAC-Hoya PPV numbers) so he demanded a slightly bigger share just for the recognition of his better accomplishment and drawing power.

PAC getting almost 51% of the pot is fully justified and he justified it further by annihilating Hatton in 2 rounds.

We can't fault PAC regarding his demand which Hatton eventually accepted (Hatton could back out from that fight if he wanted to). It was good that we were not deprieved watching that fight.

With that performance Hatton deserved no more than 10%
