I honestly think the weight problem had alot to do with it Marquez is no doubt a great fighter but Pac was very gaunt and sickly at his last few fights at 130.He only stayed as long as he did to try and cleanout the division.

Weight could be a legitimate issue here but I won't accept the TS's premise that he's the only who struggled. Otherwise, Marquez would have done enough to win the fight. Pac had done enough to win the fight ---- the KDs and the solid blows.

you ****ers really cant leave pac alone with his victories you always have to resort to his fight with jmm to console your pathetic feelings.

    just facts.

pacquiao had an official draw with jmm the first fight. no jmm did not win, both officially and unofficially (since pac was the one robbed by the blind judge, remember?)

pacquiao did not struggle terribly the second fight. if he did it would have been an easy ud for jmm. that was a close fight which might have gone the other way. dont blame pac for jmms inability to keep himself on his feet.

so the thread is irrelevant as **** because pac did not struggle terribly.

Cling to the knockdowns as much as you can, bro. That's about the only thing you guys can hang onto. As a matter of fact, if you keep repeating it maybe one day you'll convince yourself that those "wins" were actually controversy free.

P.S. Knockdowns only guarantee you the win if you can keep the guy down or a fighter keeps knocking the other guy down so much throughout the fight that everyone knows it isn't a competitive fight.

Regardless of who "WE" thought won either fight, the judges paid to score the fights were the only ones who's opinions actually matter. And as for gifts...Marquez got a hell of a gift in the first round from one of the judges who failed to deduct another point for the knockdowns. If not for that, the OFFICIAL record books would read 2-0 for Pac, not 1-0-1.

Those two fights with Marquez were really close and had it gone the other way people on the other side would be claiming robbery.

I have no problem with people thinking that Marquez edged out a close wins in one or both fights since those were pretty close. I just have a bit of a tough time thinking that Marquez pitched a perfect game besides those knockdowns :huh

Its not like Pac did not get his share of moments.
