    No matter who you fight when you reach a point whereby your beating them to a pulp and destroying their eye and face you're gonna let off...

    It was no longer a fight. So why continue? Nothing is achieved.

    Cotto might have been happy to continue to break his face in such a situation

    No... Manny could have KOd his ass... and was close to doing it. He let Margarito live and it is clear to anyone who watches the fight.

    Pac was more hurt than you think. Pac himself restated what I said how Freddie just wanted him to be careful. Then Pac talks about how much pain he was in and how lucky he was to survive

    I think that was the last I have personally seen of vintage Pac. I also think that fight was harder on Pac then it will get remembered for.

    As for compassion, ehh.... I dont know. I think it was a matter of tiring a bit combined with knowing he wasnt going to stop him. If you actually go and rewatch those last two rounds, it wasnt that big of a carry as people seem to think lol. Pac was still throwing shots.

    he was throwing shots but only enough to keep off margo who is still moving forward and just enough to win the rounds. he was visibly not putting the hurt like what he did in the earlier rounds.

    Don`t be so naive, if pac could have stopped him he would have, he was tired himself & had the fight in the bag, those are the only 2 reasons why he never went all out for the KO, nothing more, nothing less.

    Margarito fought some big punching mofos at 154. He has a granite chin. Steroid Shane hit him with the kitchen sink over and over and over until he was pulled off him. AM is durable.

    Then we have little steroid junior with his super fast and accurate combos. Painful bee stings to Margo but unable to really slow him down.

    AM was still moving forward and was still live. If PAC tires trying to knock him the **** out, it is the only chance he has of losing.
