Pacquiao got robbed of a decision in one because a judge couldn't do simple math. I had Pacquiao winning the second one by a razor thin margin. I had Pacquiao winning the third one by a razor thin margin. Marquez landed the more telling blows, but Pacquiao landed more in volume, came forward all night, and was busier the whole time. BUT I could also support a draw or a respect people who think he won by decision. These 2 guys are fated. I welcome IV! :happy
If Marquez wins what does that prove? Pac doesn't have the Welterweight title anymore, Maybe they will do a Pac and Marquez 5.
You are entitled to your opinion but your opinion doesn't mirror that of the vast majority of boxing fans. Even if Pacquiao believed he won all the encounters like you say he did and fans thought that too there would be no interest in a 4th fight. In reality its quite the opposite....:good
Maybe the judges got mad because they had to wait for Pac to finish watching Basketball...lol!!Judges saying #whodoeshethinkheis
Unlike Pac Juan wants to redeem himself knowing he had won,not avoid Manny and say oh I beat him already,he wants it on paper I cant blame the guy
His own personal satisfaction. He knows he beat Bradley and seems fine with that performance, whereas he was obviously disappointed with how the last JMM fight went down. Manny desperately wants a clear cut victory over Marquez, so he's going to try for it again rather than just accept the official 2-0-1 in his favor and call it good. Point is, he wants to settle the matter.
Marquez should just go for the knockout against Manny Pac. If Marquez gets knocked out it doesn't matter but if he happens to catch Pac with a shot...changes everything.
:good great post. i agree...i had pac winning the first two but they were FAR from conclusive. pac wants this and good on him. he could retire on the strength of two victories but he wants to earn respect and i admire that
Because it's the easier option. Marquez is 39, even though he arguably beat Pacquiao in his last fight it's going to be a challenge for him to do it again. Bradley on the other hand is much younger, quicker and I think would have a better chance. Plus Bob Arum probably wants Bradley to carry on the Top Rank mantle given Pacquiao's impending retirement.
Those numbers are suspect, they weren't counting Bradley's landed shot half the time. Pacquiao supposedly landed 253 punches, Bradley face showed almost no damage. He may be the least damage looking guy PAC has fought.
