Pacquiao was defeated since he first tried to bulldoze the granite chinned Morales in the early rounds. He adjusted late in the fight but he's still one point short of achieving a draw.
had to be the blood draw. it weakened him so much. he has never lost a fight since then. think about that. and the other fights was only because he was too young and inexperienced. since then the only thing that could hurt him was a blood draw. FACT! really though the reason is simply morales was the better man that night.
You're sensative, like a woman Popkins. The gloves, and the blood testing the day before are two well known reasons given for why Pacquiao lost that fight. If you want to make a thread about the Mayweather/Castillo fight, go right ahead. I'll be more than willing to disscuss the actual fight.
130 lbers. are not allowed to use 10 oz. gloves. 8 oz. gloves were used for the fight. The dispute about the gloves had to do with the brand, not the size.
I wasn't 100% convinced he did. I thought it was just one of those great, close fights that could have gone either way.
You're not right. Like many oversensitive posters on here, you simply invent agendas that don't exist. Pacquiao fanatics don't need my prodding to say something stupid.
I wrote an article on this tired ass topic. Why the **** would I engage you clowns about it anymore? You still haven't produced a solid argument for any of your perceived theories. Witch hunt homos.
"Why did pacquiao lose to Morales" I will go start a thread: "Why did castillo lose to mayweather in the first fight" and stir up just as much stupid ****. Quit acting like you're not completely transparent on this one.
Rational fans know that the point of this thread is to show that Morales won because he was the better man that night. Pacquiao lost because he wasn't good enough at the time. Freddy Roach admitted as much. He says that fight was the turning point in Pacquiao's career. It made Roach realize that he needed to add more dimensions to Pacquiao's game. There's no shame in losing to Morales. Pacquiao and his team learned a lot that night, and no, what they learned had nothing to do with gloves or blood tests. You don't lose fights because of gloves. If Pacquiao and Roach really believed this, Pacquiao wouldn't be where he is now. That fight was an important night for both fighters. That's somehow lost on many people as they are too obsessed with focusing on bull**** that had nothing to do with the outcome of the fight.
