That's your opinion. Unfortunately for you and Castillo, the 3 guys whose opinion actually mattered in this situation, dissagreed with you. Were the two guys that knocked Pacquiao out better than Castillo as well?
Its already obvious that Manny gets fustrated in fights. He does so even when winning.Manny did it in the Clottey fight when he threw that two handed chop at Clottey, for not being able to get through Clotteys guard.Manny wanted Clottey to drop his guard. But you guys talking about Manny not having the gloves he wanted or him being cut is some of the reason why he lost, doesn't say much about Mannys head. How about the fact that Pacquiao was in there with a great fighter.Roach probably thought that Morales was war torn and didn't have anything left, telling Manny to go after the older fighter.Morales fooled Roach by having one more great fight left.Manny was so shocked by the loss,he didnt have a clue of what to say after when being interviewed. He was looking over to Roach like,"you told me there was no way i would loss this fight". You guys say that Morales was the bigger man and was more comfortable at that weight, but at that point in Eriks career he was struggling realy bad to make 130lbs.Morales took the fight anyway.Just like he took the second and third fight even though he was begging Roach n team for 135lbs.
The gloves to wear was an issue in this fight whether ****tards accept it or not. Otherwise they would not have stipulated it in the contracts, to get undue advantage. Freedie was so livid when he learned about it. Murad was later fired bacause of it. Look at Morales's face in the first fight, it was unmarked; whereas in the second fight it was a mess.
Because Erik was a badder man on the night. He would have beaten any 130lbs fighter in the world that night in my judgment.
It was of the 'close but clear' variety IMO. Castillo won 115-113 (incidentally, the same scoreline as I had for Morales in Pac-Morales 1).
