Why did Pacquiao lose to Morales?

This, pretty much. Unlike other Pac men on this thread, I don't really care about the blood and the gloves issues. Yes, maybe they did unsettle Pac a bit, but I'd say most fighters are unsettled about one issue or another in most fights, it's probably not often that they are 100% comfortable and happy about every facet of fightnight. That's one of the reasons why I think this is another pointless bull**** BigReg BigBitch thread - pretty much every boxer who loses a fight cites one thing or another which they found particularly irritating or difficult on the night. Many fighters have mentioned gloves in the aftermath of a defeat, many fighters have mentioned a multitude of things, it isn't remotely unique to Pac or to this particular fight, this thread could be made about 5000 fights. The fact is that Morales performed better on the night, he jabbed better, he boxed better, and he won a highly competitive and ****ing brilliant fight deservedly. I don't think Pacquiao ever did what Ricky Hatton did after Pac beat him, and whined on about "that wasn't the real Manny Pacquiao", he mentioned things that pissed him off, took the rematch, and smashed Morales to bits twice. No scandal, no controversy, no point in a thread about it.

PAc lost to EM because EM had a jab, two fists, and a chin. EM, had he not gone up to lw and came back down to 130 beats PAc ever time in their prime...

Because of the HEADBUTT that PACMAN sustained from 5th round, he was fighting one eyed from then on, because of blood oozing from that wound. And yet all MORALES can muster is a 2 point decision. Is that what you call GREAT? Get real GAYS..:hat

:deal His loss to Raheem proves this clearly. He had already lost to Raheem and then later lose to Pacquiao and Diaz afterwards. Had Pac beaten Erik immediately after that then he would of gotten more credit, but Erik lost to Raheem and then lost to Pac a year later. El Terrible's last great performance. I like Pac, but he lost fair and square to the better fighter that night. No excuses.

EM won by more than 2 points to objective boxing fans, and second...the bleeding excuse is just that...an excuse. Valero fought with a cut under, and on top of of his eye along with being elbowed to the white meat, and he just brushed the blood away and kept fighting...

PAc went in bombing trying to put some hurt on EM early, and even had EM hurt to the body, and EM showed his fighting heart and came back and hit PAc more times than he's ever been hit. Pac did good with the cut, but he was thoroughly outboxed...

Pacquiao was a ***** in the post-fight interview. All fighters make excuses, but he didn't give Erik an ounce of credibility. Didn't help that his biggest fan, Larry Merchant, actually practically opened the interview with, "Do you think the gloves were a factor". Come on Larry, **** sake.

Its not like he was the first guy that complained about those gloves,MAB did the same after his third fight with Morales and considering what happened when he was able to wear the gloves he wanted a case can be made that the gloves made a difference, still all credit should go to Morales for putting on an excellent performance and beating Pac in a close fight(i had it 7-5 Morales).

Pac lost to Morales because Morales was on PEDs. Duh. And pac was wearing the wrong socks too.

    Joking.

Morales' last great performance. He was a bigger monster than the pacman on that night. Great Performance by a legend.

I've seen many people claim in the past that Pac lost that fight because of the gloves. Recently, many have said he lost because of the blood testing the day before the fight. I was always under the impression that Morales was simply the better fighter that night. I just wanted to know how the rest of the forum felt.

But isn't it obvious, EM was great that night and anyone who makes excuses for Pac isn't worth listening to.

However, I still believe Pac has issues with blood being drawn but it wasn't a factor in this fight. Pac started to search for answers right away, 90 million people worship this guy and he let them down.
Look at the state of him in the ring, hardly in control of his emotions was he? Tell me, when has anyone here ever been THAT emotional and thought straight at the same time?

Even though blood being drawn had no effect on the fight outcome Pac, searching for reasons after the fight might actually believe it did. And if this is the case Roach has every reason to guard his fighter.
Roach might not even believe it, but that's not importent, the fact his boxer does is.

This is one of many theory's that could be true, but it's mine.
