I think Pacquiao’s team may have thought that Floyd would give in eventually on the drug testing requirements he was asking for if they initially refused it. Instead, Floyd moved on and the fight didn’t happen until 2015. I still think the argument is kind of weak that Floyd ducked prime Pacquiao, as Floyd is a couple years older. Plus, Pacquiao was still fighting at a high level well past 2015….unless you think Pacquiao was shot in 2015, only to somehow get better as he got older and beat guys like Thurman.

Prime is not just a factor of age. However, just because Floyd was no longer in his prime does not mean he didn't duck Pac. Floyd set up the road blocks... and a judge made Floyd pay Pac a large settlement.
