Why did Pacquiao refuse random drug testing for the Mayweather fight in 2010?

Can you note where it says otherwise? Are you always super defensive about anything related to Floyd? It’s pretty weird.

I know what the thread is about pimpy, but you were extoling the virtues of floyds ability (Again Yawn) to control distance etc...& I mentioned how he was unable to do this in the FIRST Maidana fight...but you were defensive (again) & wanted to disregard , Gloss over the point I had brought up & wanted to point to Floyds amazing win over Maidana - Farm Boy, in fight 2 ...which had nothing to do with the fight 1 ....Ok Pimpy...we get it you love Floyd, yes he was very good ...in his day....get real...

 

Maidana had a good gameplan take the fight to an old PBF the problem with that is you're spent for the second half of the fight for the most part. Which is why in the second fight Maidana fought at a more measured pace.

 

While I’m deeply sorry for the hurt that your feelings sustained, Pacquiao did not shun USADA for VADA. The reality of it is that he dismissed all extensive testing and to suggest otherwise is a false narrative.

 

Well yes...Maidana was out of his league , thats why he was picked by camp mayweather ...sorry...but IMO , fight 1 they under estimated him & due public opinion( furious Booing etc in ring after fight 1...Floyd re matched & did a proper job...

 

I’d dismiss fake testing too. Let me know when it’s 24/7/365 testing. However you get an F for explaining what Olympic style testing is.

 

There is actually a search engine called Google that can tell you, within seconds, exactly what Olympic style testing is and which substances are banned.

I agree though. Pacman was a beacon of morality when he refused drug testing because he knew that we could create even better drug testing. Tragically, he never pursued nor advocated for these superior tests.

 

It's too bad that the guy who claimed to want to clean up the sport of boxing ended up being the biggest cheater and dirtbag of all:

• Ultra low T/E ratios
• Received illegal IV fluids
• Late fight announcements (control when testing starts)
• Privately contracted drug testing agreements with USADA
• Refused the gold standard in VADA testing
• Refused the $5 million dollar per positive test penalty
