Why did post exile Ali get fat and then remain fat even after his return?

Interesting post but you cant see the pepsi for the diet pepsi.

Ali was a fitter fighter post exile.Ie greater stamina.

Even up to the Spinks rematch he was dancing all night.Every second of every round.

So in terms of "fighting" stamina and "fighting shape"...he was better but in terms of physique asthetics his "ass"thetic was fatter and chubbier.

It was slight but v noticeable up to 1974 than between 75-80 at times he was v out of shape.

He didnt feel the need to train so much during those ten defenses post manila but would so dor a shavers or norton.

But still he was never 60s shape.why?

It was nothing to do with that muscle mass baloney

It was just his diet..especially how he went crazy st weigh in and post fight..lets give u a example of post the foreman fight....Ali had a steak with eggs ,fries, and butterred toast and orange juice and pepsi than another steak with eggs ,fries ,buttered toast and orange juice....not bad but not good either..lots of protein, and complex carbs and sugar and fat.....in short it was a dietary capsule that would lend itself to looking "almost there" but not quite in terms of a great physique ...it would lend itself to looking like a ali who was training ferocious but had a diet 70% good.
