why did razor ruddock pull out of a fight with vitali(then byrd came in)????

Maybe because he was going to get spanked? An injury is probably the most likely scenario. Might have to do some research on that one...

Given the fight with Vitali was in 2000 with Byrd and Ruddock retired a year later in 2001, but didn't fight at all in 2000...my guess is injuries.

 

Pretty sure it was hepatitis.

The real reason was Ruddock had some dodgy surgery to reverse a vasectomy.

 

Yep.

And not everyone thought he should've pulled out of the fight because of it either. Fight anyway. When he did pull out of the fight, the ballgame was over and no promoter was going to bother with the guy ever again. And no promoter did. That fight was a last chance hope for a title for the guy and his only hope of any sort of a payday.

 

Exactly. It weakened him and he was never the same fighter.
