I thought one of the reason he moved there was for the sparring, but HBO said that he rarely spars. So what's the point moving over there? Does Oxnard have a lot Argentine over there? :huh
california=weather? Oxnard=many boxing clubs, many fighters/trainer? real estate is maybe cheaper in oxnard than LA or San Fransisco
I dont think its true , look at his house , its doesnt look like anybody lives there. It wouldnt surprise me that this is a HBO thing to sell more PPV's. Argentinian moves to the heart of California boxing etc.
i dont know , but that house didnt look like home and the gym looked rented. i know he spent a long time in Europe , but who knows...
:huh. the thing is this... his house looked very empty, true. but he also said that he didnt socialize. but also he has like 2 fights in a year, so he must have a lot of free time, I don't think he trains 365 days a year. but at the end, he wanna be big in USA and wanna make some money here, so it would be better for his career to be in the states.
True, but when you combine the boxing culture that has sprouted up in Oxnard. The move by Martinez to there makes more sense.
