Past purse amounts matter in negotiation. What don't you understand?

Too stupid to talk boxing? What boxing have you been talking?

Must I remind you, you were the first one who started to throw insults? Hilarious.

Some advice, get a job that doesn't require knee pads.

They wouldn't matter at all in that case since it was a purse offered outside of the country where the fight is taking place funded entirely by an oil tycoon. Martinez suddenly wouldn't be a bigger draw in the US just because a Russian promoter overpaid him for a fight in their country.

Oh no, Martinez doesn't have to fight any of the other belt holders in his division cause he's undisputed. Yet when a title holder wants to fight him to unify, he turns them down. But that's ok, cause I'm homosexually attracted to him.

Where do you come up with this ****? Martinez being offered a purse outside of the country has zero to do with the fact that he'd be fighting for said amount. It's something to come to the bargaining table with, at least. Martinez wasn't a bigger draw after the Macklin fight anyway, hence him getting paid the amount he's getting against Chavez.

I'm still waiting for that quote.

Sturm offer (and others) are discussed by DiBella in this podcast: http://sherdogvideos.com/ringradio/ringradio_ep9_9_29_11.mp3 (and please don't question DiBella's credibility on this since you cited Sturm himself).

Rafael mentions offers to Geale here: http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=6659035 and here: http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/chat/_/id/38885

So who's lying? That's on you, who you believe.

Yet Geale, all of a sudden, wants the winner of Chavez/Martinez.

Because you deserve to be insulted. And you failed to answer my questions. What undisputed champion in history would have gone to Russia to fight a guy like Pirog? And what fighter in history would have been called a "ducker" for not fighting a prospect with less then 20 wins a paper title and one decent win over another completely untested prospect who BTW had cancer.......

I'll hold my breath and wait for a reply.

I don't see any reason to believe Sturm on any of his call-outs. He's talked tough about the lineal champs and Abraham for years all while taking on the Hearnses and Zbiks of the boxing world. Or as Boxed Ears put it more elegantly:
Cause he's been able to make hometown defenses since he won the IBF belt. I don't see what's so hard to understand about this. The only lingering question is how genuine he is in his desire to fight the Chavez-Martinez winner since he also talked tough after beating Sylvester.
