Pirog's team was very vocal about DiBella's counter offer. I doubt they were lying about the money. Maybe something else about the deal wasn't to Dibella's liking. I don't believe what he says most of the time anyway, he's done the worst job you could do with Sergio over these years. I understand fighting in Russia isn't ideal, but when you're being offered that kind of money and if you think you can beat the guy, why not?
Name Sergio's three best scalps. Now name Julio's. Case closed, Freddy. BTW, does JCC jnr prefer ****-fighting or bull-fighting ? :yep
Yes, an offer with no TV fought on the challenger's turf. Truly the only logical conclusion to reach about such a rejection is that he was ducking.
Why did Chavez Jr. need five or six other guys to help him **** in a cup? His dick can't be that big.
I realize freddy just wants people to LEAVE CHAVEZ ALONE, but more substantively: Macklin >>> Lee and Manfredo, the two people Chavez has fought since that moment. No one has ever ducked Sturm and most people had Macklin getting robbed.
Yes and the difference between then and now is that he's a bigger star than the opponent you want him to face. You accuse DiBella of doing a bad job with Martinez yet at the same time are criticizing him for turning down a fight that would have done absolutely nothing to increase his exposure, would have meant that he could only fight in the US for one date this year, and would have effectively ruled him out of ever getting a Chavez fight. "Career high payday" does not end the argument when that payday is only marginally greater than what he's already making, a win does nothing for him in the long-term, and the fight has to be contested on the challenger's terms.
Maginally? Martinez ain't even making 2 million guaranteed for this fight with Chavez (the biggest of his career). He would've been guaranteed 3 for Pirog. Get your facts straight.
This Pirog offer was way before he even fought Barker. He didn't know he was gonna make anything close to that with Macklin. Damn, stop reaching.
