    True.
Marvin kept his dignity and moved on with his life. Did rather well in Italy as an actor. No images of Marvin Hagler being saved by the referee or laying along the ring apron to signal his careers end.

It's fine I wasn't trying to have a pop at you, I respect your knowledge. You certainly have alot more than a whipper snapper like me.

Dont you understand the term "relative"?

just as there is a limit on speed within our universe, so too is there a limit on speed within the realm of boxing

Only a handful of boxers have ever EXCEEDED that limit: Terry Norris, Hector Camacho, Roy Jones Jr, peak Thomas Hearns

fighters like Pernell, Ray Leonard, Floyd, at their best approaching that limit but never had that INSTANTANEOUS speed that Norris had.

Norris, technically an ordinary fighter, had more speed than he knew what to do with so fights, even big fights, came easy to him

Having the kind of speed no man has a right to posses, he'd often cut loose and sometimes had problems holding back, even striking his opponent while down on the canvas

while in the case of Roy Jones, when asked what made him so dominant, replied "it's the speed"

Hector too was a dominant fighter at 130, often cutting loose with jabs and crosses too fast for the eye to follow, enabling him to defeat no less than ten world champions, past present and future

what kind of trash is this?

    hello!

    Tarver KO 2 Roy Jones

Tarver ruined Roy for all time. other losses followed but Tarver was the first and its the first that counts

Hopkins? well he tried but came up a bit short

speaking of Jones, was he faster than Robinson?

when it came to speed, Robinson MUST take a back seat to Roy, no matter how it galls the blood

So I'm through and it's a very interesting close fight ... I have Hearns winning 1, 2, 3, 4 with the knockdown in three ... I have Leonard a two point round in five and winning 6, 7, 9 and ten with seven either way .. Hearns has 11 with the knockdown but Leonard has a big round 12 .. it was a very , very close fight, underrated , a mini Manila for these two who were past their best but gave it their all ... to me it was a draw as Ray dominated most of the second half of the fight other than the knockdown in 11 but gain came back in the 12th big ... either way very close and very good .
