Why did team Pacquiao choose Cotto?

    Apart from the obvious -that Cotto is a marketable fighter with a pretty big fanbase and will always draw people to watch his fights-, why do you think team Pacquiao chose Cotto as Pac's next opponent?

    I know some of you might want to choose "all of the above", I'm just asking which reason you think played a bigger role in their decision.

    The money excuse is like a political campaign at this point. :rofl

    The real reason Manny Pacquiao went with Cotto is because Arum swindled him into it, and Freddie Roach really didn't like Mosley as a matchup at this particular point in time. Let's cut the BS.

    Money issues. Cotto has more followers than mosley, and both are in top rank. By the way, cotto beat mosley.

    Easier matchup for Pac, and for more money. Cotto has had some problems with quick southpaws in the past. Roach has even admitted it.

    Definitely not the case.

    Pac wouldn't have a problem fighting either guy, but his people would. They clearly think Pac has a better chance of beating Cotto.
