Why did Teddy Atlas leave training Mike Tyson?

I put my hands up here and say until I joined ESB,I was a fan of Teddy,probably because I enjoyed the book.I'm not going to say I hate him and he's top of my **** list,but I have had my eyes opened to a number of things.
Always grateful for valuable insight and measured opinions which differ from or change my own.:good

Sometimes mutual forgiveness/catharsis just isn't on the table. The best way to "let it be" is to just keep on quietly hating from a distance. Reopening wounds can be ugly, especially when there is little chance of it serving any purpose.

what happened with tyson in the Olympics? did he win? I read the atlas book and all i can remember was that johnny tapia was his roommate in the Olympics or Olympic tryouts.

 

I agree with your posts, glad to see someone else knows this ****. Atlas, in that Foreman argument, waited till there were people around to break it up. That clip o him and George does not show what started it. Some time earlier, in elevator, Foreman refused to talk to Atlas for some reason, then Teddy, with a reporter watching, figure he would show George up--he stuck out his hand to shake, figuring George would look bad if he did not shake hands. Foreman did not give a ****, ignored Atlas. Teddy did nothing, till much later, when he approached him on the video.
