They kept mentioning how Wladimir was KOed by Sanders and Brewster but they ignored the man that was the first to do so, Ross "The Boss" Purrity! :happy :happy :happy

EHHHHHHH! Wrong answer! How was it a fluke anymore than the rest of them? Ross, weathered Wlad's best then knocked him TFO!!!!

Its beacuase he went so long without getting into trouble that the Purity loss became a fluke. Wether it was or not became irrelevant ( until Sanders and Brewster )

Probably because that was 10 years ago? I don't even understand why the keep talking about Sanders (5 years ago), and Brewster (4 years ago). I can't remember the last time that Wlad completed an entire walk to the ring with the commentators mentioning a "glass chin". They need some new material.

You can't ignore history, even if it is convenient for Klitchko fans.

Not to mention that Wlad was younger, stronger and more atheletic then. He lost to Ross when he was in his prime.

So his prime was at age 21? :rofl:rofl:rofl

I guess Lewis prime was right around the time he got sparked by Mccall.

For a HW, their twentys are normally their primes. There are a lot of older HWs right now. That is the only reason they are competetive against each other. The list of 30 something heavys that have lost their titles to a prime 20 something is long.

Wlad must be the first guy in history to be in his prime during his second year as a pro. 225 pounds, 22nd fight in two years, 6th fight in 6 months... yea he was well prepared.

He doesn't need an excuse for a fight 10 years ago. He learned from his mistakes, and is now the #1 heavyweight in the world.
