Why did the Judges rob George Foreman in his fight vs Briggs?

    George got a gift vs. Shultz so they were just making up for it.

    I think this is true. When you're getting disputed decisions vs fighters you're heavily favoured to beat, eventually patience runs out.

    There also may have been an element of Foreman potentially embarrassing the division by beating a highly-touted prospect at 48 years old. And also a desire to retire a legend honourably on a technical defeat that people didn't take seriously. If Foreman had gone on at some point he'd have got brutally KO'd.
