Holyfield chased both Klit sisters around for a fight for years. They both ducked him like casual boxing fans ducking common sense.

They also ducked Valuev who they feared due to his height which took their best weapon from them.

Yeah , winning titles against hall of famers and Breaking records in his 12th fight .

Wlad was getting banjo'd around by journeymen at 24 fights in. :rofl

No explanation that makes sense to me for not facing Holyfield.

But its a joke to say they ducked Valuev. Even casuals should know by this point Valuev brazenly ducked Vitali. Even though it was after Valuev lost his belt (i.e., his negotiating leverage), Vitali offered Valuev by far the biggest contract of his career to face him, and Valuev wanted twice the cash (more than Vitali would have received for the fight). It's the clearest example of ducking by pricing yourself out in hw boxing history. He just didn't want to be ko'd by VK

Holyfield wasn't up to snuff in the 00's, let's not pretend otherwise, as I said he went out as a faded bum just like Mike, Bowe and others.

I'd say 08/09 when he easily beat 25-0 WBA Champ Chagaev.

Please remind me, how many rounds did Wlad lose when he fought the guys that beat Evander?

    Troll better.

The only time this match would have been of any relevance was in the early 00's. Around the time Holyfield beat Rahman.

2008 Holyfield was shot beyond belief. People forget that he badly lost to Ibragimov a year earlier. Him giving Valuev such a tight go IMO highlights how mediocre Valuev was more than anything. at the notion of either Klitschko ducking him. Would have been a mismatch.

Pretty sure the majority of the men that had fought holy by the time they got to wlad were washed up.

    Try again

Toney would have easily outboxed Klithcko.

1.5 million is not a lot and I wonder what was in the contract. Toneyt probably knew wlad would just hold him and buy a ref who doesnt care.
