And he was mandatory. If Holyfield was mandatory then Wlad would have fought him.

My mistake. Wlad fought Rahman SIX years after he was beaten by old Evander:rofl

And he was not a mandatory. Povetkin was , but he withdrew on an injury.

Rahman was Vitali's mandatory back in 2005 but Vitali chose to avoid that fight.

    Raham was never Wlads mandatory.

Because of injury you idiot. Vitali lost $30m from that pullout.

I've read his biography clown. Vitali retired in 2004 due to injury, you think he did not want to defend against Rahman and collect an easy $30m and not retire? Anyway, you remain a clown and idiot.

He was when Wlad fought him. IBF made Rahman the mandatory after Povetkin pulled out :deal

    They certainly did not.

Rahman fought no eliminators or beat anybody ranked to get a title shot.

    He wasn't a mandatory defence.

Read Vitali's biography, Dumbohelmet. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, German translation and all.

    http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Wladimir_Klitschko_vs._Hasim_Rahman

With IBF mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin injured, fourth-ranked Hasim Rahman was the leading available contender and, therefore, counted as Klitschko's mandatory defense.

    Any questions? :deal

    Thats not an official source.

Being drafted in on a weeks notice doesn't make him a mando. What eliminators did he win?
