Why did the WBC strip Timmy Bradley this time?

I don't think it's fair expect people to fight every 6 months or strip but I do understand.

They should have a process to extend the 6 months by a few months in specific situations.

In 10 years, Tim Bradley will be one of those guys we talk about who never lived up to their potential.
The guy is a talented fighter, but he doesn't have the most exciting style to watch and he seems to have just decided that hes a superstar in boxing.

He can't draw a crowd to a fight in his own hometown and sitting on the sidelines hoping that a fight with one of the 2 or 3 superstars in the sport just falls in his lap is not going to get him anywhere.

    Bradley is a waste.

Bradley unified titles against Alexander only a few months back surely he cannot be stripped already?!! Not that i care as i dont rate him.

This is bad news for Khans legacy/stock. unifying with Bradley would have been the best move for him to make then moving up to 147 after effectively cleaning out 140.Morales-Barrios should not be for a title,if Morales wins then Khans going to add another old mexican to his resume whilst unifying 140.

shame the Gureirro v maidana isnt for the WBC then Khan could face the winner of that. He would get full credit for defeating Gureirro and even more for rematching Maidana.

Champs should fight regularly and it has been 6 months since Bradley last fought so I do understand the WBC in this instance, there should be a little leeway though.

Bradley has beat the WBC champ twice, the WBO champ and the IBF champ (Alexander who was stripped)

If Khan picks up the WBC title through Morales it's not the same as winning it off Bradley who should really hold 3 belts.

As Bradley doesn't seem to want to fight Khan I have little sympathy.

If there is no Khan vs Bradley fight it will be a big shame!

I thought judah would be a tougher fight for khan than bradley would be, and i think morales would be too.
**** bradley i did like him but i cant stand fighters who wud rather make money than try to earn an accolade like being the undisputed champion of a divison. especially when you have recently called out the other holder of the titles.
not that it matters cuz bradley wudnt beat khan anyway

He hasn't been stripped yet! Morales has filed a request to fight for the belt, which has been sent to the board for approval, if granted, then he will be stripped! Seems a little unfair when there is surely more deserving fighters out there? Bradley needs to be more active tho, needs to fight Khan to backup all his bull!

No need for me to post. This one nails it down. Bradley bottled it.

If you're not mexican sulaiman will strip you and give it to a mexican fighter that's what they do all the time. Why you think we have so many mediocre mexican fighters becoming champions.

It's bs but I can't say i'm gutted for brad.

It's essentially making khan the de facto champ because the other belt holder won't fight him.

The thing that is bs is sanctioning barrios. It should be maidana in there, or it should be vacated for the winner of maidana v guerrero.

What would make sense would be bradley himself fighting morales.

As I said earlier tho, bradley pissed me off by ducking khan so I don't hate too much sympathy for him.

Aren't they fighting for the WBA 'regular' nothing more than an interim title? If they fought for both the winner would be another WBA super champion. Stupid WBA.

It would be good if sanctioning bodies could see the deserving fight for a vacant title even if the fighters are fighting for a different organisation's title.

They're corrupt. Golden Boy was behind getting them to strip him so Morales's next fight would be for a title. Did the same thing for Alvarez, getting them to sanction the Hatton fight for their title, and Hopkins rematch with Pascal, getting them to order an immediate rematch despite Pascal being contractually obligated to rematch Dawson. WBC are a joke. Not to be taken seriously anymore.

This is the wrong way to go about it I think, the WBC are basically just handing Morales (and then Khan probably) their title. I can't say I feel sorry for Bradley, but if anything it should be Guererro and Maidana fighting for the belt.
