Why did they not show the Amar v Purdy fight?

Gary Newbon & Co had so much time to kill between Midnight and the the first American undercard fights that they could have shown this and the rest of the Sheffield undercard.

I get pissed off with hours of anylising when there are fights I haven't seen available. Is it about saving things for Ringside?

At a guess they wanted to get off air from Sheffield and everybody home and shoot to the studio as soon as possible after the main event. Presumably they thought it would have been odd to have Amar v Purdy on the Martinez v Macklin programme.

Bit crap though, can't have been to much to ask Dave and co. to stick around for another 20 minutes to show it.

I'm guessing they didn't expect Proksa/Hope to go the distance.
