In Dec 2010 the winners of Khan-Maidana, and Bradley-Alexander (who fought in Jan 11) were supposed to fight. After Khan and Bradley won their respective matches it was supposed to happen next. Bradley refused the fight, was he scared?
bradley fought pacman instead of khan who was rated by many at that time p4p king hardly a duck.... if khan was in the same position and had a fight with either mayweather or pacman lined up he would duck any fight for those 2.
because he had bigger fish to fry. You know like fighting one of the best fighters of this generation in Manny pacquio for payday, respect and glory.
right...he ducked amir to face pac instead. that makes sense. the better question would be.... 'why did amir wait for bradley to announce that he was trying to get out of his contract with gary shaw to call him out?' khan is a step backwards.
the casamayor fight was his first with promoter bob arum. there was no doubt that he wanted out with gary shaw to get the pac fight. meanwhile....khan lost to peterson and got starched by danny 'swift' garcia.
Because in order to fight Khan he had to renew his contract with his ex-promoter. He needed to wait a couple of months for the contract to expire to sign up with TR to get a Pac fight. :deal
if it was the other way round would khan do the same ? if he had chance to fight pacman or mayweather he would pick them instead of anyone else..... devon alexandra offered the fight to khan but i think khan wanted the mayweather fight didn't he ?
Bradley ducked Kahn for the same reason Kahn ducked Alexander last year a loss means no big money fight. Looking back on it years later its funny everyone wanted Bradley to beat Alexander because they thought Alexander would duck Kahn and Bradley wouldn't, Bradley won and ducked Kahn and then Kahn turns around and ducks Alexander a year or so later. Between the three Alexander gets the least love but was the only one willing to fight the other two
