when you fight better guys than lennox lewis, ray mercer, george foreman, donnovon rudduck, carl williams and pinklon thomas you can comment.

My guess is you'd have been knocked out by all the 'bums' he fought.

Morrison had the privilege of fighting in one of the HW division's most stacked eras, and came away with some impressive wins (along with some devastating defeats). I wouldn't say his record was padded, at least any more so than most others.

Morrison clearly outboxed Foreman and knocked the **** outta Razor Ruddock. Hardly a bad career.

he fought 19 bums in 12 months....his first 12 months as a fighter. thats more than acceptable as learning in the ring...26 bums in 3 or 4 years like Wilder is unacceptable

The stoppage was justified, look at how fast Razor crumples to the canvas:

Here's the extended version, you can see Razor's head snap back and the ref stops it around 2:45

I agree, very good not great. His left hook was great though....poor stamina/conditioning combined with a poor defense/fragile chin kept him from being a great fighter.

I dont ever remember Tommy puuling a Steve Cunningham and running for a whole fight while pot shotting. The man, at least every fight I've seen of his, brought it for the fans. Yes, even you criticizing him for fighting 'bums' like Ruddock and Mercer. Big George is another one he fought for you.

I agree. I guess that ref hadn't seen the Tyson fights and didn't understand how much punishment the man could take and recover from. Still a good win for Tommy, but I'm confident The Razor would have come back and been recovered after the round break to KO Tommy in around 8
