After the fight Hearn wanted to celebrate and congratulate Bellew for his victory over Haye, but Haye just shoved him away. I missed the fight, but I saw a clip of this on Twitter. Anyone know the story behind that?

I dont know, i didnt see that happen, i didnt have any sound either. If Tony pushed Hearn away im wondering if its because Tony only wanted to celebrate low key after winning a fight because of an injury to his opponant? Maybe scousers celebrate in an agressive pushy way like Merikan footballers.

If you watched the post fight presser, (35 minutes) Hearn thought that Haye was going to knock Bellew out. I am sure Bellew picked up on that pre fight and was angry about it post fight.

All that happened was he didn't want to celebrate in front of Haye. He threw two people off who tried to celebrate with him, one cornerman, and Eddie, Eddie second. He just wanted the first thing he would do to be talking to Haye. It speaks for him, this moment, it was pretty cool.

i think he didnt want to rub in it hayes face - if you watch the fight interviews on sky later, he grabs hearn to come in and they was chatting quite happy and civil.

Eddie Hearn is pathetic with his attention grabbing jumping in front of the camera stunts, constantly trying to patronize his fighters.

He's doing good job as a promoter and I respect his work but he has to learn to be low key. Fighters and promoters have a business relationship, they're not meant to be buddies. Hearn should just understand that he should stop acting all friendly with the fighters because they see right through that.

If I were a fighter I wouldn't like my ****ing promoter to be stealing my moment and acting like he's the one who won or had anything to do with that victory.

If you saw Eddie's face as he jumped in the ring you would have pushed him off too.

You could tell it hurt hearn espically after all the grief haye gave him. He was a lot more reserved after that moment with bellew.

Plus did anyone see the look haye gave hearn when he was hovering around the two after they embraced, like if you try stealing this limelight I will ko you!!

I remember when he jumped in in the Froch-Bute fight. It hadn't even been called off and he had to jump back out. Could have cost his fighter. The bloke is an attention seeking twat. Haye got that right at least.

do people complain when football managers celebrate a win? no, why can't Hearn celebrate his fighter overcoming the odds

Just the emotions. Bellew knew he was fighting a one legged fighter and kept perspective. Hearn was just celebrating his success.
